The MISD Elementary counseling topic of the month is gratitude! Students explored the topic of gratitude, or giving thanks, during guidance lessons last week. We discussed the many ways we give thanks such as Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, verbal communication, giving gifts and thank you card. Students were given the opportunity to write thank you cards to Daulton staff members. They were encouraged to use the art of writing thank you notes outside of guidance lessons as well. It was amazing to see the numerous thoughtful and sweet notes created by our students. Thank you notes were delivered to every staff today.
Don't forget Toys for Tots donations are currently being collected in the front office through December 4th.
